Blue Badge boost for footie fansImproved online service makes away-day access information easierGovernment website Directgov has enhanced its Blue Badge map to include details of the accessibility of 160 major football grounds around Britain. The online map, already helping disabled people find facilities such as Blue Badge parking bays, accessible public toilets, and Shopmobility centres has used the expertise of the National Association of Disabled Supporters (NADS) to give football fans a single source of access information on stadiums across the country.
"I was pleased to hear that NADS and Directgov have been working together and sharing their information in this way. The Blue Badge map is an important service and one that should help disabled fans across the UK." |
