Changes to discounts on Oyster in London

Get 1/3 off all Oyster pay as you go single fares and daily caps with your Railcard.

Disabled Persons Railcard holders travelling in and around London using Oyster on National Rail, London Underground and DLR services can get 1/3 discount on peak pay as you go single fares and peak daily cap. This is in addition to the current 1/3 discount on off-peak pay as you go single fares and off-peak daily cap.

If you had the Railcard discount set on your Oyster card before January 2015, you will need to have your discount entitlement updated to get discount on all pay as you go single fares and daily caps. You can do this at any London Underground or London Overground ticket office, as well as National Rail station ticket offices that issue Oyster cards.

If you don't currently have the Disabled Persons Railcard discount loaded on your Oyster, you can do this at any London Underground or London Overground ticket office, as well as National Rail station ticket offices that issue Oyster cards.

If you don't use Oyster, you can get 1/3 discount on Off-Peak Day Travelcards Zones 1-6 for you and someone travelling with you.

Please note, from 17 May 2015 the special concession allowing one person accompanying a Disabled Persons Railcard holder using Oyster to buy and travel on a Child rate Off-Peak Day Travelcard will no longer be available. Instead, Disabled Persons Railcard holders will need to buy a Railcard discounted Off-Peak Day Travelcard for the accompanying person.
