The completion of work at Didcot Parkway forecourt was celebrated at an opening ceremony attended by Councillor David Nimmo Smith and First Great Western Managing Director Mark Hopwood.

Oxfordshire’s second busiest station has seen over £8 million of investment and has seen the creation of a new drop-off zone and short stay spaces, improved walk ways and greater disabled access. There are also improved bus stops as well as increased number of taxi rank spaces and more cycle storage areas. Brighter lighting is also being installed to improve visibility at night
